![]() Or someone BMW Software pack as ISTA P/D, INPA etc. Can you recommend me witch version to install witch is tested and works with the genuine ICOM-Next Interface. I think that maybe have a software problem. ![]() All look like ok - but still not working. ICOM will keep it's static IP(in my case something from 10.0.11.x/24), PC and car modules will get IP if needed from DHCP(still in the same network as your ICOM). You connect then your PC and ICOM to router. In some cases(flashing) you indeed need DHCP. I assign IP manually to my PC from the same network as ICOM is in. That way I always know what IP it has in case I need to change something, ping if it's alive etc.įor diagnostic(ISTA, INPA etc) I use direct connection(PCICOM). ![]() In my config I did setup static IP for Icom from my home network(10.0.11.x/24). Eas圜onnect and EdiabasConfigurator are very helpful. You have to 'lock' ICOM to use with INPA(at least I have to do it). ![]() I only want to ask you - you mean that I can connect the interface via lan switch for example (I not must to connect the interface as follow: ICOM > Lan Cable > PC)? Right?ĭirect, local, dhcp or static. Its compatible with ISPI Next and BMW OSS. Now will try with this you write me - will set it to Local Area Network. This ICOM unit is designed to work with BMW/MINIs using an OBDII connection, and works with ISTA and ISTA/P. The ISTA-D recognize the interface and 15kl but again show me error with this PAD. So now I have run the RCleanerv4.4 and restart the pc.
